19th-Century Bronze Sculpture
An exceptional bronze figure of a youth, in a fluid pose, the face with jubilant expression and downward gaze, with one arm upswept and the other down, with one leg crossed in front of the other, suggesting movement, Continental, ca. 1890. 49 ins. high, base 4 ins. high, approximately 19.75 ins. square.
Barbara says, "A fine representation of a young model in sinuous pose—it's unusual to find this sort of a portrait in bronze".
