Carved Stone Sundial
A carved stone baluster, the top with reverse scalloped edge, English, ca. 1870, surmounted by a 20th-century bronze sundial plate. 40 ins. high overall, meant to be buried to 32 ins. high, top diameter 12 ins., 8 ins. square at base.
Purportedly from a house that had pieces from the garden at the Palace of Westminster.
